At a flight school/aeronautics university in Arizona, there is a crash site investigation lab, which is pretty much an oddly picturesque museum setup, with reconstructed crash sites—blood still on the seats in some cases—along a walking path for students to analyze. I’m considering getting a Masters in Safety Science and was permitted to tour the lab. This is the first wreck I saw.
Doctor tells guy he can’t fly due to a heart condition. Guy ignores doctor. He’s up doing aerobatics, puts it into a flip, and his heart explodes O.O
He of course dies instantly and never finishes the flip, instead nose diving straight into the ground.
"See how the rudder is twisted in front of the cockpit like that? That’s called the Scorpion Effect…nose hits the ground but the tail keeps going. See those earphones? That’s where they found his head."
